Paris Monitoring Days

Paris Monitoring Days is an event for the French-speaking monitoring community. A gathering with international ambitions, bringing together experts, engineers/consultants, vendors of data management tools (monitoring, observability, logging…), companies, students and anyone passionate about DATA. It's a space for exchange and shared experience, where business opportunities will also be on the table.

The conference focuses on monitoring and observability, two key topics for modern enterprises. Monitoring makes it possible to measure a system's behavior in real time, while observability makes it possible to infer a system's internal states from knowledge of its external states. Both techniques help us understand a system's internal state by examining its external outputs, in particular its data. In the context of modern application development, observability refers to the collection and analysis of data (logs, metrics and traces) from a wide variety of sources, with the aim of providing detailed insight into the behavior of the applications running in your environments.

Today's reality is that the French-speaking monitoring community is scattered. Everyone runs their own event on their own. What's missing is a common, neutral space where all enthusiasts can come together to share and network. We need a strong community capable of competing with others in terms of technical proposition and market potential. We need a common standard for instrumentation, processing and data presentation.

Our objectives are as follows:
