The topic of his talk
At Paris Monitoring Day 2024, Samuel DESSEAUX will address a topic essential to enterprise incident management: "Self-remediation in Incident Management: Optimizing automatic incident resolution processes – principles, strategies and tools."
This session explores the concept of self-remediation within incident management, focusing on the automation of resolution processes. Monitoring identifies the problem, observability finds its cause, and self-remediation resolves it. The goal is to show how this approach reduces response times, minimizes human error and improves the continuity of IT services. Samuel DESSEAUX will present concrete case studies and implementation strategies based on tools like Saltstack and Ansible to maximize the benefits of this approach in modern IT environments.
